How to Calculate Your Exact Age in Years, Months and Days

To calculate your age, you subtract your date of birth from today's date. Simple subtraction gives you years. But to get months and days accurately, you need to account for the fact that months have different numbers of days — February has 28 or 29 days, while July and August both have 31.

For example, if you were born on 15 March 2000, and today is 15 June 2026, your age is exactly 26 years, 3 months, and 0 days. But if today were 10 June 2026, your age would be 26 years, 2 months, and 26 days — not 3 months.
